1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Omniscient's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on Omniscient's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the materials
- use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the website
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
3. Disclaimer
The materials on Omniscient's website are provided on an ‘as is’ basis. Omniscient makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
4. Limitations
In no event shall Omniscient or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Omniscient's website, even if Omniscient or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
5. Accuracy of Materials
The materials appearing on Omniscient's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Omniscient does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current.
6. Links
Omniscient has not reviewed all of the sites linked to our website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Omniscient of the site.
7. E-books (digital products)
Seller: Omniscient Sàrl, c/o Fondation EPFL Innovation Park, Building C, 1015 Lausanne, Switzerland.
Delivery and right of withdrawal: e-books are digital content delivered immediately after payment, through a download link sent by email. By completing the purchase and accepting these terms, you expressly request immediate provision of the content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content.
Refunds: because delivery is immediate, sales are final. No refund is granted, except where the file is defective and cannot be replaced.
Access: the download link is valid for 7 days and allows 5 downloads per file. Save the file to your device to keep it.
Prices and VAT: prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Omniscient Sàrl is not subject to VAT; prices do not include VAT.
8. Private lessons booked online
Offers and prices: private artificial intelligence lessons, by the hour or as a 10-hour pack, at the price shown at the time of booking, in Swiss francs (CHF). Omniscient Sàrl is not subject to VAT; prices do not include VAT.
Payment: the price is paid online when booking (card or TWINT, through Stripe). The receipt is sent by email; an invoice is issued on request. A booking is final only once the payment is confirmed.
Sessions: sessions take place online or at our offices at EPFL Innovation Park, in French, English or Italian, with a member of the team chosen by Omniscient. For an online session, the video link is emailed to you before the session. Sessions are booked in the slots offered, at least 2 hours and at most 60 days ahead, in whole hours, from the personal link sent to you by email. This link gives access to your bookings: keep it to yourself.
10-hour pack: the first session must take place within two months of payment. Once the pack has started, the remaining hours never expire. A pack not started within that period is not lost; Omniscient reminds you by email.
Cancellation and rescheduling by the client: free up to 24 hours before the session starts; the hours go back to your balance. Less than 24 hours before, or if you do not attend, the session is due and the hours are deducted; Omniscient may, at its discretion, credit them back.
Cancellation by Omniscient: if Omniscient has to cancel or move a session, the hours are always returned and a new date is offered to you first.
No refunds: paid hours are not refunded, including unused hours; a session cancelled in time is rebooked. This does not apply where Omniscient cannot provide the service, nor to mandatory legal provisions.
Start of the service: by booking a session soon, you ask that the lesson may take place before the end of any withdrawal period.
